The Aspire Group understands the variety of potential support and options available both locally and at a distance for children, adolescents, or adults. Introducing these possibilities and guiding families through the process is what we do best. At The Aspire Group we understand that a knowledgeable family is the client’s best advocate.

Whether helping to select the right local day schools, boarding schools, therapeutic schools and programs, wilderness programs, summer opportunities, colleges, college alternatives, young adult programs, or supporting students already enrolled, The Aspire Group has the expertise.

Assisting with placement in the right educational setting means evaluating the student holistically. Interviewing the family and their support team, collecting and interpreting data and understanding the student’s strengths and opportunities for growth allows us to identify the “best fit” solution.

The Aspire Group believes that there are no closed doors, only opportunities and alternatives. We empower families by providing them the knowledge to choose with confidence and build a plan customized to meet individual needs. We are an independent, unaffiliated and cost-effective solution that works directly for the family and never accepts compensation for referrals from any outside source.

Our Team

Imy F. Wax, M.S., LCPC, CEP

A psychotherapist and educational consultant, Imy is a member of several professional and parental organizations. She is a Certified Diplomate in Psychotherapy, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Educational Planner and a member of the National Board for Certified Counselors. Imy has completed additional graduate work and courses in psychotherapy, family therapy and neuroscience.

Jamie Goodman, M.Ed., LPC

A licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified School Counselor (Type 73) and Educational Consultant who joined Imy Wax & Associates in March 2013. Jamie travels regularly throughout the U.S. to evaluate schools and programs for both typically developing and special needs clients.  She works with families to develop short and long-term goals and explore possibilities both locally and at a distance.

Bill Connor, Ed.D., LCP, NCSP

An Educational Consultant, Licensed Clinical Psychologist (IL) and Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Prior to educational consulting, he served as the Psychologist and Director of Student Services with Hong Kong International School as well as psychologist in multiple public school settings and clinical settings. He has frequently taught as an adjunct faculty at the university level.

Erika Sireaski, M.Ed., LPC

A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified School Counselor (Type 73) and Educational Consultant who joined The Aspire Group in 2017. Prior to joining The Aspire Group, Erika worked as a high school counselor with experience in the special education classroom. She focuses on helping families find local day school options that meet their needs.

Randi Valerious, JD, MSW Candidate

An educational consultant, Randi is currently pursuing a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Loyola and a Certified Alcohol and other Drug Counselor certification (CADC). Prior to becoming an educational consultant, Randi graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in psychology and received her JD from Harvard Law School. Randi has practiced law for 27 years. Randi understands that every family and child has unique needs and is passionate about finding a program that fits those needs.

Kristie Jensen, Client Services Manager

Kristie Jensen joined The Aspire Group in 2015 as our Client Services Manager. Kristie manages our office in Spanish Fork, Utah where she provides a critical link between The Aspire Group and the many area programs that support our clients. She has been a highly regarded industry professional for nearly 20 years in numerous critical roles and capacities. Kristie has worked successfully in multiple treatment programs and in a variety of critical roles. She has been an Admissions Director, an Operations Manager, and has had responsibility for Business Development and marketing. Kristie earned her degree in Social Work and demonstrates every day her passion and dedication to helping those families whose needs we serve.
